2016年南京工业大学浦江学院公益活动进校园即将启程
2016年的招生工作悄然来临，招生前的宣传工作也即将拉开序幕，为扩大我校的知名度和影响力，计划举办公益活动进校园，分别有“英语讲座进校园”和“围棋讲座进校园”。希望通过此次活动，让更多的高中学生增加对英语和围棋的学习兴趣，扩充他们的知识面。讲座的主讲人都是在各自领域具有较高的知名度和丰富的经验，相信一定能让学生们不虚此行，受益匪浅。活动即将展开，敬请期待!(后附讲座人的介绍)
1、英语讲座进校园主讲人：Thomas J. Folan
Introduction
Thomas J. Folan
English faculty at Nanjing Tech University Pujiang Institute
Thomas Folan is a teacher of English and Music at Pujiang Institute. He completed university degrees in German Studies and Music, receiving both a Bachelor of Arts degree and the Bachelor of Music degree. As a graduate student, he furthered his studies in Music education, conducting and piano, receiving a Master’s degree as well as a doctorate in conducting.
Dr. Folan will present a lecture on the importance of Education in today’s world, with a specific focus on learning English as a foreign language. His goal is to inspire students in the pursuit of their own dreams, believing that learning English can be an important way help students to achieve in in many different professions and fields of endeavor.
Dr. Folan will also believes that, by engaging with students through relating his own experiences, they will be better able to see that the achieving of them own dreams can become a reality.
Thomas Folan will include some examples of different methods used to teach English, and the various opportunities that learning English can give students. He will conclude his lecture by introducing Pujiang Institute as a destination for students interested in continuing their education. Dr. Folan will also take questions from students after the lecture.
2、围棋讲座进校园主讲人：何云波
何云波简介
南京工业大学浦江学院围棋学院院长、二级教授、博士生导师。中国首位“围棋博士”，泰国正大集团顾问，中央电视台《谁是棋王》节目策划顾问。主持国家社会科学基金项目《中国围棋思想史研究》等4项。围棋文化著作有《围棋与中国文化》《棋行天下》《弈境——围棋与中国文艺精神》(博士论文)《黑白之旅》《围棋与东方管理智慧》(与泰国正大集团副董事长蔡绪锋合著)《图说中国围棋史》《围棋文化演讲录》《中国围棋文化史》等，主编《围棋文化教程》，“中国围棋文化研究丛书”执行主编。
